BRYAN, Texas (AP) - Gilmer quarterback G.J. Kinne and Liberty Hill running back Brent Bode have been named co-offensive players of the year on the Texas Sports Writers Association's Class 3A all-state football team. The 215-pound Kinne threw for 2,962 yards with 47 touchdowns. The 180-pound Bode rushed for 2,363 yards with 28 touchdowns. Both are seniors. Giddings linebacker Alan Dock, a 210-pound junior, was named the defensive player of the year. He had 167 tackles. Liberty-Eylau's Pat Brady was named coach of the year.
